She would lay life-less
like a rock,
sleeping on the beach
"What is your favorite
color mom?"
"Green, Green like the grass,"
she would say weakly.
The green ocean
water would be
trashed with liter,
the green coral would
break away
and drift across endless oceans.
The leaves would
fall off the might
trees,
the leaves would
depart from the
soil of the earth.
The green grass that
sways in the wind,
would now crumble up
and die under the
hot sun.
The colorful flowers
that
that used to stand
up tall and proud,
would now bow their
heads in dishonor
and dissolve into nothing.
The bright sun
that usedto smile
down at the earth,
would now be engulfed
by darkness
and disappear.
