Memoir monday: new years eve

One new years eve in America with my parents I thought of how I used to celebrate new years eve with my Grandma in Denmark.
This is how I used to celebrate my new years eve with my Grandma in Denmark.
1. we used to watch the news until the clock hit 12:00a.m.
2. We would go outside and light the fireworks.
3. Then we would go inside and drink soda and eat and celebrate it.
4. After 2:00a.m. I would go outside in my swimming trunks and play in the snow.
5. Then I wold go inside and play video games until 5:00a.m.
6. And then we would go to bed at 5:00a.m.
I learned to appreciate being with my family before its gone and I also learned to appreciate to be with my parents too.
